Columbia First Church of the Nazarene exists

to promote and teach the following Core Values:

· Christian – God’s Son, Jesus, came to earth as a man. Jesus died on a cross and rose from the dead on the third day to take away our sin. If we confess our sin, He will forgive us. It is by faith in God that we receive this free gift of salvation which cannot be earned!

· Holiness – The Holy Spirit enables us to be “set apart”. Continually living a life of obedience to God and following his commandments found in the Bible provide direction and guidance for our lives.

· Missional – Jesus told us to go and make disciples by sharing our story locally and globally of what God’s forgiveness is doing in our lives. This story is to be shared with everyone we interact with.

We strive to be “Externally Focused” in our outreach efforts and “Internally Aware” in our discipleship ministry. Being a disciple of Christ is a lifelong journey that requires growth and discipline.
